2018 Daily Temperatures for the 6 Great Lakes

Here is the raw data set

The raw data lists the daily temperatures for the 6 Great Lakes - Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, Ontario and St. Clair. The data is an 365 x 8 array called 'glseatemps20181024'. I use MATLAB R2020a

I extract columns 3-8 from this data set as a new table called 'temps'

I extract the average daily temperature of each lake below

I plot the 2018 temperatures of each of the 6 lakes

The above plot shows that for 2018 Lake Superior had the lowest daily temperatures and Lakes Saint Clair and Erie the highest. It is interesting to note that Lake St Clair was at an almost constant 0 degrees for almost the first 60 days of 2018
